Is it possible to borrow a disk for me as well. I am open to price suggestion and I only need to install it onto my PC and then I will return it. Its annoying now that when I want to re-download it the web page tells me that I am out of range to but it.
I can get several copies of it, I only have the installer for the download version of the game, this means that you can only get 30mins playing time before you have to upgrade to the full version (its only £10), it takes you through the paying process and works fine (I use it). I am happy to do this for anyone who wants it for £2 to cover the cost of the disc etc. For this I will also add in all of the various upgrade packs that I have accumulated over the last couple of years.
If you want a copy either post here or email me, I will try to bring some to Rebel Robots and Barnsley for anyone who wants one.
Ok, since im probably the first at knowing what goes in RA2 (Robot Arena 2) heres what you will want to do:
1. Go on places like Ebay and find a good copy for a good price that ships to UK (Like I did)
2. When installed, go to:
http://www.gametechmods.comwww.gametechmods.com, then go to downloads section and, then patches and install the RA2 1.3 patch (Winrar needed)
3. For AI packs (technical name for Add-Ons) go to the AI pack section.
There are 2 main popular AI packs out there:
DSL-TC 2.1: If you want Robot Wars and Battlebots replicas, then this is the pack for you.
Starcore 3.0: If you want more of a challenge, then this is the pack for you
My advice is get used to the basic game, or Stock as its technicaly known, then go to AI packs.
If anyone new to RA2 needs any help, feel free to contact me.
