  • Old drill gearboxes/housings

    Hi guys,

Basically Im after some plastic housings that are used on drill gearboxes. I need ones that have the three fixing holes that connect it to the plastic plate on the face of the drill motor (I have a few myself but they all have four mounting holes therefore dont line up with the motor faceplates)
I bought a bundle of drills on eBay but the majority are hammer drills and they are just a bit too big and have a removable output shaft that just wouldnt work with standard drill drive setups. However the motors are 16.8V and they are all-metal gearboxes so I essentially just need the housings to transfer them across to fit in my robot.

As long as it includes the output shaft with the threaded end and reverse-thread screwhole on it, Id accept anything with or without any of the stages of gearing, just as long as it is the variety that has the three mounting holes.

    Thanks,
    Jamie

P.S. Just thrown up a quick pic; the bit in the blue circle (including the output shaft)http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c367/ayrshirerobotics/Random/Mabuchi_RS-550HS.jpghttp://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...buchi_RS-550HS. jpg
