  • Motor --MY 6812B

    hi all,
does anyone out there have the motor named above at all?

i need 2 more as i think they are quite good motors for another feather im building.

ive got 2 in a different feather which- many years ago used to live inside 2 childrens electric scooters( mine and my sisters)

i cant find the scooters to buy anymore as we got them over 3 years ago and any scooters i find on ebay has newer different motors in.

ive found a website that sells them, as it was written on the motors label, but the company is in china so i dont really want to buy them from that far away.

if anyone has a motor lying around or even by chance the scooter to go with it would be great.

if not ill have to go any buy different ones. but the idea was to use the same motors in all my feathers so i can swap them around if one breaks etc.

    thanks calum

hate to say it but just use drill motors. Far easier to move around between robots

thats great woody i dont know how you found those on ebay because i couldnt

the first link is more the right kind of thing although they are slightly different, but ill get two of those as they should do the trick.

i prefere the motors ive been using to drill motors, they are really good and powerful.

just think when they used to be in scooters one of those motors could pull me along as a kid so thats about 70kg and with a mate standing on the back who also weighed around 70kg and ive got 2 of them in a robot which weights about 13.6kg so it flys along.

and gary i was wondering did you get to keep the series 7 trophie?
