I know there was a thread on here with details of where to get some rack for a rack and pinion system.

Ive looked and I cant find it so does anyone know where to buy some?

HPC gears sell racks in many lengths, they are expensive though.

were are you based? ive recently found a local supplyer in the midlands- i had a delivery arrive today

4x35tooth 3/8th sprockets
2x10tooth 3/8th sprockets
3metres of chain
50 m6 CSK allen head screws

the lot came to £30 which is well cheap. I know they do gears and racks aswell so there worth a phone call

Try these guys, http://www.lakehurstpt.co.uk/http://www.lakehurstpt.co.uk/ bought 5 x 3/8 23 teeth sprockets, and 2 x 3/8 38 teeth sprockets for for £19.21.... inc delivery! and had the bits pretty quickly. You will have to pay by cheque when you first you use them though.
