The next FRA regional social will be at Brewsters, near Lincoln, at 8pm on Saturday 3rd July.

The one after that will be in Huddersfield on Saturday 4th September at 7.30pm

Ive been a bit busy with Newark to remind everybody of the next social in Lincoln - but please post here if you are considering a night out on Sat 3rd July.

As Jeremy has said, its Brewsters at south side of Lincoln. Directions above (21st April).

Weather permitting - theres an area suitable for Robot Demos (secure fenced patch at end of industrial estate, just 200yds from Brewsters)

Attended by (in no particular order): Kev, Arthur, Mrs Arthur (sorry, didnt catch her name), Tim from Stinger, Neil and myself.

Just a general yack really, main points were:

a/ That if Kev were to get the position of Secretary on the FRA board (which he has), hell need someone to do his job as regional rep. Jeremy has said hed rather continue in his regional deputy role, Neil said he couldnt do the job as hes going away to Uni at the end of the summer, so I said Id do it.

b/ Expressions of concern as to whether Mentorn will get litigous over the World Championships.

c/ My demonstration of how to breathe life into a seemingly dead A-reg Polo

Think the verdict was no social at the start of August due to the WCs (Im busy that week anyway), so the next one is over in Huddersfield at the start of September.

There was an FRA committee meeting last weekend, Kev and myself attended from our region - Ive lost track of what Im allowed to pass on from this meeting, and what not, so I will await the final version of the minutes to be published by Kev, to avoid putting my foot in it.

Just got off the phone to Kev. Trevor Wright (Velocirippa/Mighty Mouse bloke) has offered to take over as our area rep. Ive always said I dont mind if someone else wants to do the job, so Im happy for Trevor to take over this role (saves me a job! ).
