You should be able to turn off the co2 by hand, without any tools.

        Co2 on off valve

From next year, it will not be acceptable to use a key to isolate or dump gas supplies (FRA compliant events). I would anticipate that RWs will also no longer tolerate it as well. Where it is not possible to access the CO2 main bottle (or bottles) valve, an additional remote isolation (ball) valve can be used as the point of isolation. Piping from the CO2 main bottle to the remote isolation valve needs to be kept as short as practicable.

This does introduce a complication and that is where to fit the 1000psi relief valve - before or after the remote isolation valve. If after, then the valve needs to be rated above 190 Bar. If before, then a standard 1000psi (69 Bar) ball valve can be used but you must ensure your activation / de-activation sequence does not leave both the remote isolation valve and dump valve closed for any longer than it takes to operate them.

Also, be aware that the short length of pipe between the remote isolation valve and the main bottle valve will remain pressurised. You will need to check that this small volume of gas is safely exhausted whilst any fittings are being unscrewed from the bottle.
