Dutch Robot Games 2005 is a tournament for fighting robots.
Location
DRG2005 will have a small area (10x25 meters) at the GamExpo / HCC Fair in Jaarbeurs, Utrecht (centre of town, across the street from the railway station).

Parking at the Jaarbeurs will be free for Roboteers but we only have room for 25 cars.
Schedule
DRG2005 will take place on Friday (25th), Saturday (26th) and Sunday (27th).
Planned sessions are:
Friday: free play time & grudge matches
Saturday: 2 sessions, 10:30 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 16:30
Sunday: 2 sessions, 10:30 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 16:30
Fair will be open 10:00 - 17:00
Roboteers must have unloaded their robots and tools by 9:45, after that the public will enter the hall.
Registration fee
Registration fee will be: free for DRG, FRA and GRA members; ‚ 20 per team for non-members. This fee can be paid on site.

Registration
Please fill out the application form (available later) and send it back by e-mail. You will receive confirmation of your registration within 2 weeks. Unfortunately there is only room for a limited number of robots. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
For a better show, we would like robots and roboteers to look their best. Please bring your €œintroduction music€ if available and wear team colours. Because of limited room, teams with heavyweight robots can bring no more than 3 people. Teams with raptors or featherweights, no more then 2.
Competition
Robots must comply with the FRA build rules. Competition will take place in the following classes: heavyweight, featherweight and raptors (6 kg, GRA rules; http://www.roboteers.orgwww.roboteers.org). Matches will be 1 V 1. Between final matches on the last day of the tournament a couple of specials will be organised, like flipper-frenzies.
Dutch Robot Games will build its own arena, FRA-class 3, 6x6 meters. Spinners may be allowed, depending on available Polycarbonate screens, to run during the last session of the weekend. Final decision on this will be made in a couple of weeks.
