Thanks for posting this Michael, have just signed up for a few. Hypothetical question, if I were to build another robot over the summer & wish to enter it along with my current FW into one of the events towards the end of the year, would I have to enter it as a different team or redo my application for the old one?

You might have to take that up with John Findlay when you go to one of the events, ask him as he's the one that sets up the whole thing.

I was debating this myself - I've put in a speculative application for when I've built Kaizen so although it won't be at Manchester, there is the very real possibility it will be at Guildford. As Outlaw says, ask John.

I understand that Robots Live! are waiting to hear back from some side events as to wherever they are going or not. Once they've found out, they'll post the sign up form here

Thanks for the update Michael. The robot is now built, had it running at the weekend, slight design fault with the chain drive. Need to add two tensioners/guides. At full rev the chain oscillates and drops off cogs, I was hoping that the short distance would be sufficient without them... oh hum. Easy fix for this weekend.
