Hi everyone! If you attended either of these events your robot is likely to feature somewhere! Id love for you to give it a watch if you haven't done so already. Enjoy!

Haha! Great to see the outcome of all the filming at Maidstone (I was the guy who did a soldering job on your connectors/demonstrated my method of punching a pilot hole into the Aluminium and dremeled the side plate until the robot moved).

Hope to see you guys soon!

No worries If you are planning to run The Westminster Warrior again, I am quite happy to help.

I'm really glad everyone likes it, I really wasn't expecting such a positive response!

I enjoyed watching that, that was absolutely brilliant.

As for the robot itself, it's a fantastic first attempt. Just need better wheels. :P

I happen to know that The Westminster Warrior uses the same motors as The Honey Badger 2.x and would recommend using the same motors again but use a pair of Gimson hubs that fit those motors perfectly and are pretty durable. The minus point is that you need to align the hub onto the wheel with care but once on, it isn't coming off.

Thanks for the advice, the current ones somehow still work but I'll make the next incarnation four wheel drive. With any luck it will last more than two fights next time!
