26/27th Nov - RR Winter Tour FINAL - Folkestone

    Hi Guys,

The reason that beast is above tanto, just in case your wondering, is in the event of a tie of points, then we look back at the fight results, and how convincing any competition wins were.

Beast throwing Big Nipper ( a seed ) out of the arena gets it lots of plus points.

That and hes paid me 100quid to say so

Its all up in the air, birmingham is going to be very interesting as to who ends up in the top 10.

    John

Im getting ready for the event. I had to make some necessary repairs.
The old is made out of 7075 T7 and is broken on a bolt hole. The new one is 7075 T6.

Is it allowed to add a small buffer before the finals,to prevent the regulator from freezing? Thats if it still stays within weight limit.

Jeroen, have you tried to fit a coiled hose assembly to act as a boil off coil? This is what I do for Dantomkia and it works a treat for me. But if you do need to fit a small buffer tank to allow the liquid to boil off then as long as all the parts, fittings etc are rated to operate at that pressure then that should be fine. One other thing to try, you obviously have a larger fitting out of the regulator than the output hole in the regulator body. Try fitting a smaller fitting and then have a LP buffer tank. When Co2 is allowed to expand thats when you get freezing so if you have a smaller output than the input then most of the freezing problems will be cured.

        I hope that this helps.

        Mike.

Hi Mike, thanks for the info. I tried to use one tube towards the LP buffer tank instead of 2. But it only made it worse. Ill see if i can find a coiled hose. If i cant find it, then ill machine something out of aluminium.

Going down Friday so not much chance of that unless by some strange reason the A1 gets blocked, so dont get your hopes up.

(thinks) I wonder if I can arrange for a huge licorice spillage on Jct 33 at Pontefract during morning rush hour? Itll take them about 3 days to scrape the stuff up
