Please ignore the mistranslation of PRETEND to INTEND.

Should be a pretty sweet event, very laid back and friendly folk.

What IceMaster wanted to say is that the GRA will participate in one of the biggest - if not the biggest - trade fair for model making in the world.

The "Intermodellbau 2017" will take place in the time beween the 5th and the 9th of April in Dortmund, Germany. From the start on Wednesday until Fiday we will have an exhibition stand to inform visitors about our hobby.

On the weekend an additional hall will be open to the visitors. This hall is dedicated to the German Roboteers Association exclusively. We will build up our arena there in the dimensions 6m x 6m.
A tournament for Raptorweight (6 kg) and Featherweight will be organized on Saturday the 8th.
On Sunday the 9th we will have some fun fights and bot soccer.

Our antweight arena will be part of the exibition stand but we will not arrange a tournament in this weight class.

As always everyone is welcome to join the event! The more people (and bots!) there will be the more fun we will have.
At the moment an official registration for the tournament is not yet set up. (I will inform you as soon as is it) However to be able to make plans for the event it would be nice to know how many teams are going to participate.
If you are planning to join please let us know!

As this is a very huge event and a great opportunity to present our hobby internationally we hope for lots of participants.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Dortmund!

I picked the right time to build a raptorweight! I really enjoyed last time in germany and hope to go back for another round. Now to try and remember my password for the GRA forums

If people from the UK find the trip from Calais to Dortmund to long for 1 trip, a stopover in the House of Chaos can be an option.

              Thanks for the support maddox!

Harry, I am looking forward to seeing you again.
Would you like me to reset your password for our forum? It is also ok if you write just here. We will then update the list of participants in our forum by ourselves. Should I put Team Hills on our list?

You can also put your name in this thread or the DRG thread, it doesn't need to be on the GRA forum.

We're certainly interested. If it doesn't clash too badly with other things we'll try to make it. Probably just T3 (title to defend?!) in the feathers.

So it is, I've got that in mind, and transfer all Teams to the GRA Thread, no panic, everyone is welcome!

It goes only first enough tables for each team, registration comes later, more Information will come soon!

Alexander, Mike, Dave Weston and myself are very interested in coming. We'd we'd probably just be bringing feathers unless I can put a raptor together in time, though I'm sure Dave would put some Ants in the car.

Will you come as one team or each one as a single "team" (or other combinations)?
It would just be good to know because of how many tables you'd need.
                            Usually it's a table a team

Was tempted to go but no affordable way of getting there this late on I think

Will there be more events like this later in the year?
