  • Are all the live events on Sundays?

Hi all, I'm putting together a design and parts list to build my first featherweight (or robot for that matter) but noticed that events are listed as 2 days most of the time.

How do the events work? Do you come to the events the whole weekend or just at certain times?

I mainly ask because I'm very religious and won't be able to attend Sunday morning events.

Are there Saturday only events or time slots you can sign up for?

    Thanks

Most heavyweight events allow what we call Whiteboards during the shows. These are easily possible to simply attend Saturday.

If your willing to pack your stuff up overnight you could potentially also attend sunday afternoons. You could potentially leave things there, but if you wont attend the 1st show i wouldnt recommend it.

If it was a championship event you wished to attend, your place of worship may also be able to help you out. In these events missing a show could mean forfeiting, so there are ways in many religions to still observe in absence which may be worth looking into.

Ah that's interesting thanks. I noticed that there is usually 2 shows: 12pm and 3pm is this standard practise on both days?

Saturdays are usually alittle later, Sundays usually a little earlier but vary widely dependent on EO or event in question.

Mainly so those going cross country can leave and arrive at a decent time for the weekend.
