Just noticed we hadn't listed this! For the first time we're heading to Cannock, Staffordshire, for our last big show, of what has been a big year for all of us!

Hi, I'm very interested in attending this. Can't find much information on it.
so have a few questions :-)

what is crack with it? (Iv never been to a live event before)

Whats the time table / format?

whats on the Sunday 3pm till 8 session ? (That's the one I'll be going to)

what weight classes are there?

iv read some things that spinners are band for some reason in some tournaments. Why? And is this one?

could I meet some builders and see the bots as I'm about to start building and I would certainly like the chance to see things up close and personal.

A: Basically exactly as you see on TV, however its for fun from the roboteers perspective and the general entertainment of the audience.

Q: what weight classes are there?

A: Usually Heavyweights and Featherweights

Q: iv read some things that spinners are band for some reason in some tournaments. Why? And is this one?

A: Read the FRA rules and find out the grade of the arena your intending to visit. Grade 3 are limited to 500rpm due to safety as higher Grade arenas are incredibly expensive.

Robochallenge is currently the only EO with a grade arena high enough to allow spinners over 500 rpm

Aww man, I'm so stoked for this. Can't wait to see Behemoth especially! Dead excited for this Sunday!!

I'm not sure about alternative competitions, but I do like the idea of a Halloween theme as in RogueTwoRobots' idea. I can't think of much outside of pumpkin-related activities though.
