What isnt clear from the R3 site (until you read the small print on the BB site) is that they are only accepting middleweights, heavies and super-heavies. No light(feather)weights

Thats not strictly true Karoline, they are accepting Featherweights (30lbers in the US) but for a different part of the competition.

If you take a feather over I would take it to the 30lb mark. We learnt at the robogames that the 1.6kg is a big disadvantage!

But anyways, best of luck Ed! I am sure you will show the americans just what a good british robot can do!

2 questions I cant find answers to:

            1. Can Jenny and I really get away with competing in the IQ part of the competition with the college/uni students?

            2. Is the US sufficiently prepared for the Pillow Torque Girls?

Mind you - kids are back at school by then so it looks v. unlikely
