    9th July 2005 - XFM at the Essex/Tendring Show

    Weve been asked by the organiser of the http://www.tendringshow.demon.co.uk/>Tendring Show if we can rally a few local teams to come and join Throttle and Vanguard (the XFM House Robots)......(and Storm II I suspect) to a country show in Essex.

    Its not a big affair and a non-commercial event, theyve got their own arena which I would describe it as a Class 4 HW arena - fine for all but spinning feathers and running heavyweight demo fights. The arena is in a 40 x 40 marquee and people are welcome to bring along their merchandise to sell.

    If youre interested you know the drill by now, post here and drop me a mail and Ill liase with the organisers. Should be a relaxing funday rather than a frenetic competition day !

      It´s very close to Harwich. Just a thought; maybe some of us can come over as foot passengers with feathers if someone can pick us up from the ferry.

          In case nobody has spotted it, we are arranging our Go Karting social on Sunday 10th July So anyone attending the show would be welcome to join us if they wanted to make a weekend of it.

            Just to keep people informed of developments - it looks like well be taking the full XFM Arena along to this one now. Weve got to go do a site survey to make sure the venue is sutiable, but were confident that this will have the full arena set up (probably minus the polycarbonate though).

            Camping will be available for teams on the Friday night and there will be food/drink and beer throughout the day !

            Obviously this isnt just something that ye local teams need to come to, and anyone going up to the Karting Social on the Sunday is of course welcome to spend Saturday with us !

              Meant to add, there is also an appearance fee for this event of £40 per team to cover your petrol and transport costs in getting there !
