Talking from Dublin its self haveing a great time atm
guinness is no good with woocester sause
but after 15 pints did not tell
im the 1st to book for next year
and theres still 1 day to go
Just got back. Well done to Chompalot some excellent driving for a well deserved win.
What a great event, us roboteers were certainly given the red carpet traetment. Good crew, well organised show and screaming crowds. It really just doesnt get any better.
Can we come back next year (pretty please)
A very different format to the one we are all use to, but very entertaining and a really good show. The atmosphere throughout the three days was brilliant, and the evenings out in Dublin were special too.
Well done to the diotor boys......Zulu kept the crowds entertained and the roboteers too......what a man! (mad)
Also well done to Debs and Si for a well deserved win.
It was also quite nice to see Chaos 2 in action for the first time in years. The flipper still ranks among the best available today.
Sorry i didnt get to see you but the queue was 1 and 1/2hours long approx. I didnt have enough time to wait to see you all sorry. See you all next year when ill be compeating
Agreement with all that has been said above. A fantastic event with more than a few good differences from the norm. One to remember, not least for the hospitality from Pete and the boys.
Im going to take steps to ensure I am there next year - Bloody big ones...(out them exits)
It was an excellent event, we throughly enjoyed it and will be back next year for certain.
Thanks to Pete and the boys and to everyone for making it happen, big thank you to Roger who did an excellent job of weapons in the semis, and to Alan for the neck rubs when I was stressing. It was super to get the chance to be in the arena with Chaos 2 even though we didnt fight him except once over a washing machine.
The mechs were really entertaining, a great idea to keep the crowd amused whilst things were sorted in the arena.
Congrats to the St Agro team and to Kane of Behemoth as well. It was a brilliant feeling to win, but at the end of the day it could have been anybodys trophy. I think we all were winners really, but Si refuses to chop the trophy in to pieces so you can all have a bit, he hasnt stopped grinning since he got it
