The €ÂTeam Bud Nut€ competition has proved to be a popular competition which has been running through all the events, however it€™s time for something new !!
The Grudge Match Challenge is a new Roaming Robots competition which will run throughout the year, starting in Maidstone 2012, and it gives the chance for roboteers to seek their revenge on any level.
We€™ve all been there, nemesis robots which bug you, the ones which you don€™t ordinarily get a chance for a one on one fight to distinguish who€™s best, or maybe you think your robot is the best in the UK and you want a chance to prove it, either way this new competition gives an opportunity for some very interesting fights, and of course we will be capitalising on the reason why the fight is taking place in the show.
Here€™s the difference, not only will the roboteers be able to submit their grudge matches, but so will the general public too. We will try our best to organise the best grudge matches for our show but of course roboteers need to be willing to accept the challenge !!!
Roaming Robots will be supplying an appropriate trophy which the winning robot team will get to keep it until the next show, where then it will be used for the next set of robots taking on their challenge. Each grudge match will be recorded on the trophy and we will build up the history of a challenge over the year.
