Re: 7th October - Robots Extreme Wars Live - Maidstone

As always a big thanks to the Robots Extreme Team, I think Saint won a fight!! not the one that mattered

Good to see so many robots there, Now looking forward to the next one in 2 weeks time.

Did anyone spot the trolly for Saint on A bench, as I think I left it in the pits?

I'd like to add my thanks to everyone for a really good day yesterday. Had loads of fun especially with the grudge match with Malice and the build up in front of the audience- will have to do it again some time! Maybe next time we'll take on Major Damage to even the score a bit

See you all at the champs.

A big thanks to everyone for making the weekend fantastic, the RR crew have, as usual, done a brilliant job of the event. A big thank you to everyone who was there, and especially to Ellis, Pete & Tara for making the day before fun, and John Bell for letting me drive Titan.
See ya all at the Champs!

Re: 7th October - Robots Extreme Wars Live - Maidstone

Thanks to Jonno and the RR Crew for a truly great day of Robots. This turned out to be the best event of the year in my opinion. The second show had some epic battles, there was a great atmosphere in the pits and we won a couple of fights

Many thanks to Ian Thomas who helped get Toon Raider unbent in time for the Winter Tour fight after we had had a bit of a tussle with TAN.Couldn't have done it without you mate, and the loan of the M'Alice hammer.Very impressed again with the work that Kane and Ant have done with Behemoth, looking very good and a prospect for the Champs in two weeks.

Oh and congrats to Jonno on the victory with Ripper.

Re: 7th October - Robots Extreme Wars Live - Maidstone

Thanx to the RR-crew for a great event , unfortunaly the mag-motor of the drivetrain of Hades died on saturdaymorning ...it flipped good on the test on friday , so that problem is fixed ...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eX11RDzB4RM&feature=plcp
The first performance of TMHWK was, for us ,good enough ... driving it was difficult because we didn´t have the time to adjust/ finetune it ... We had the relais of Jeroen for the axe , this relais is made for a flipper , not for a axe , so that´s why TMHWK couldn´t scrimec ... next event fixed ...
Thanx to Titan for the nice holes in TMHWK and sorry Pete for axing a nice hole in the floor ...
CU all in the next event in 2013 ...

Re: 7th October - Robots Extreme Wars Live - Maidstone

                    Hi Guys,

A big thankyou to everyone who came to what I consider to be our BEST 2 shows in 11 years of running shows.

Each show had everything, from brilliant fights, different weapons, MD getting tipped over and robots rebelling against him, Flames, contivertial judges decisions, a rematch for the Grand Final, close to sold out shows.. and more importantly a brilliant atmosphere in the pits, cosy... but really good.

Was great to still have such a high number of robots considering there had just been an event the week previous, it proves us event organisers aren't doing enough shows at the moment as people are fighting to get on the white board all the time, I'm hoping to do more next year, and we may even pull off the big event in london which is still there in the background being planned, you just never know.

Was really great to see the guys from over the pond, hopefully we will see you back over for Portsmouth in March next year, although I'm confident some of us might be coming over in December for some FW fun !

The new Grudge match went down really well with the audience, and so we will be looking to choose the next one for Gloucester !! You can submit your grudge via the events page on the website.

Work now begins for Gloucester where tickets are already selling very well, so looks like we can continue our 2012 success, every show so far has been nearly sold out if not sold out so things are really working well, and from a show point of view you might not get to see what it looks like in front of the curtain ( you should go and watch the show opener ) , but believe me we are now producing such a professional show and are nearly where I want us to be.

Some more new tricks for Gloucester coming, and some slightly quieter pyros me thinks !!

So we have our finalists for the Winter Tour, Whos going to win?.

                    Ripper
                    Meggamouse
                    Toon Raider
                    Titan
                    Maelstrom
                    Eruption

                    See you there.

                    John
