Just wanted to say thank you to the roaming robots guys for such a great show, we really enjoyed ourselves
Also a big thank you to Trevor for helping me with my pneumatics, could have mange it all without you.
I am proud to say that our robot has come out of the competition working better than at the start!

Thanks to everyone for a great couple of shows today! Nice to see another full house although some of the audience did come up with some very interesting questions! Really enjoyed getting to spend some time talking to the crowd!

Well done to Jonno and Trev for winning and to the Malice team for 2nd place too- drives very nicely now!

Just wanted to say a huge thankyou to all the teams which attended, two fantastic shows !!!

Well done to the yellow and green robot for winning the final .. fancy flipping yourself out rob !!!
And Trevor for FW of the day.

Nice break from events, as i go off to do my educational projects in schools until the end of the school year, and then start things again after the summer.


For those of you which didnt know, it turns out as MD has lived at the Spectrum for the last 4 weeks, it was caught on CCTV that it had a mouse living in it !!! Not for long when i put the link in and moved it !!

I can't make out a thing in that fight!

It's all just lights, smoke, noise and small robots! I know there was a recent discussion about how the FWs were too 'boring' but I don't think obscuring them is the answer.....

I do have to agree with PJ there, you couldnt tell what was going on. Its already mayhem with 10 robots in the arena, with the crazy lights and smoke it was ridiculus!

As always a big thank you to all at Roaming robots really good event and glad to be a part of it.

I was actually quite pleased with Saint's performance this time the modification worked for a while (Jonno if you found a bit of 3/8 chain it's mine!) A few teething problems to sort out and all will be well.

So nice to see the two Kan Opener robots going in the same fight that must be a first (Robot Wars Geeks correct me if I'm wrong)

Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks to Jonno,Trevor and the crew for another superb weekend.

Congratulations to Trev and the driver of the yellow and green robot on their wins and to Swanny on winning his own trophy back.
We had a mixed weekend with Toon Raider being Openned in the first fight of the first show,thanks for highlighting a design flaw lads,time to redesign and improve.The Feathers worked really well but i was a bit annoyed with Alex for putting the pit magnet from 4 4 Toon into Tiny Toon,without telling me, resulting in me ending up in the pit 3 times in 4 fights.Thanks to John Lear for the emergency welding and keeping Tiny Hurtz playing.

Thanks to everyone involved for a great event.

We really enjoyed ourselves. Eruption seems to be working well with the new spring-skid, and Explosion's back to working well after NST too (but only when the gas bottle is tightened :P ). Congratulations to the winners, Trevor, Swanny and Jonno, though it would have been a different ending if it wasn't for the floor flipper!
