We're stopping at the Holiday Inn next door to the venue, if anybody fancies getting up for a 6am setup you're more than welcome :wink: If you book before the end of the month its about £70 (that includes breakfast).

The event is a different style to the normal larger shows. Each show (3 of) will be about 45minutes, which will probably be;

HW
FW
HW
Boxers
HW

It will probably be 2 or 3 in each of the heavyweight fights, depending on how many robots we have. Heavyweights will have to play nice as there will be no flipping out of the arena due to the venue being worried about their floor, so the big flippers will have to turn them down abit.

got bits to fix toxic, just got to try and find the time now would like to come for the day out,
not sure how to turn the pressure down though, i could only use 1 burkert or maybe i could
promise only to use cold bottles and not heat em up eh alan :wink:

One burkert should be fine, its the same size arena as Edinburgh.

was it holiday inn ls10 1le it will only give me an average cost of £70.31p strange do they
take the money of the card when they decide how much the room is :shock:

Don't know what were doing Saturday night, depends what time and how tired we are when we get from Manchester. You know you want to come up the Saturday and get up nice and early to help setup

The 'average' cost confused me aswel!

An email going out wednesday for this event, sorry for the lateness of it but i've got another meeting with them tomorrow so can get a few things finalised. If you haven't signed up yet please make sure you do, although i won't accept anymore featherweight only teams, just heavyweights (heavyweight teams are welcome to bring their feathers).

I know theres others that have said they are coming but have yet to sign up. Big flippers note; there is no flipping out of the arena (featherweights can) so please restrict them where possible.

On another note, anybody willing to get there early and help with the setup would be much appreciated, we have 2 events in 2 days and have to start setting up at 6am on Sunday, so we may not all be with it!
