The draw will be done tomorrow at 8pm, it can be watched live at www.justin.tv/robotslive we'll see how that goes, could end up being a complete disaster!

oh great so if i get through round 1, i then fight ripper in the 2nd fight as seed 1 and 8 fight are heat a and heat b.
need to remove 2.5kg of weight anyway so dont hold much hope to beat jonno. as i dont have much time im going to remove 2 packs of a123s instead, over xmas i can sort weight properely.

Guy's it's tough at the top, but it's OK where I am.

Not bothered with the draw.
Don't care about Tiberius with sharpened claw.
No diet for saint he can eat jam doughnuts. :shock:

why does seed 1 fight seed 8 ? bit odd, why isnt this drawn aswell , should be picked out of hat.
I imagine on the draw at 8pm there might be trouble if flat robots get tiberious ?

The reason why 1 fights 8, is the advantage is given to the higher seeds, the seeds are kept apart so the first and second seed can't fight each other until the final. If we were to draw the seed positions then we could have 1v2 in the 2nd round, and there would be no point in ranking the seeds. Odds say you will beat Ripper at some point, it might be this weekend!

If anybody doesn't want to fight the robot they have been drawn against, they can forfeit, giving a free pass for the other robot.

yep jonno, im not the best would be by luck if i won. Just thought it would be better for me if i didnt fight ripper until later in the comp get a few places higher then
