Re: 9th oct 2011 - Roaming Robots Portsmouth
Again another great show.
Cherub won it's first fight then reverted to type
Some one kindly drove Tron it seemed to go OK. didn't run for the rest of the shows as Toby felt a little shy
Seraph was everywhere in and out of the pit hitting every robot including Major Damage and Matilda but still didn't win
We had a great time and looking forward to next weekend, as always A very big thanks to all the RR crew for a fab time
From all at Team Saint

Re: 9th oct 2011 - Roaming Robots Portsmouth
I had great fun, there was a problem with SA's radio system at first, but in the end we got the drive working, however, for some reason we where unable to get the axe and srimech working. Thankyou to everyone who helped us, I really appreciate it. Hopefully SA will be fully working for the next event, I still thoroughly enjoyed driving it, even though it got flipped and stuck in both fights.

Re: 9th oct 2011 - Roaming Robots Portsmouth
Thanks again to everyone for a really good weekend- nice to see all the hard work pay off with loads of people in the audience.
Maelstrom had some trouble in the first show with the drive cutting out- got it sorted for the second show and it was back on top form throwing 2 robots out and winning the competition.
Also well done to Thor and Explosion for winning the other competitions as well as Toxic for keeping hold of the Team Bud Trophy!
Thanks again and see you all this weekend!

Well done to the winners, of what was another brilliant event.
The 12pm show had a few seats left and we had to turn people away for the 330....and that was after putting extra chairs out!!!!
8 Years of robot events at the mounbatten centre and still going strong !!
Thanks to the roboteers who came and made the fights so exciting, ive never had so many emails saying how brilliant the show was, I think its up there with the best of them.
The only downside is the hardwork, with the new Everything it is hard work for the crew of which they did a sterling job under pressure, so we need to look at that.. ill see if the xfactor rodies are free for maidstone. !!
See you at Maidstone, where it looks like it could be another sell out !!

Re: 9th oct 2011 - Roaming Robots Portsmouth
Thanks yet again to all involved for another event
Eruption did well-ish, still need to sort out a less powerful self right to stop it throwing itself out (thanks Alex), and straighten out the lip which ended up about a cm curved from the ground.
Feathers did fine, relief after them both breaking down at Worthing
Good job nothing broke with only a five day gap!
