Arena looks good, but for it to be AWS legal it must have 2 sides that robots can drop off and be raised 30cm off the ground

Only needs to be aws legal if you're having an aws in it, also you need a polycarbonate enclosure to host an aws with it.

                        3) Arena Rules

3a) All battles must take place in a battle box, regardless of weapons being used in the battle.

4mm polycarbonate is the minimum recommended thickness.

3b) The arena will be a raised platform with an area of at least 30 inches (762mm) square.

3c) At least half of the edge of the arena must be unwalled, to allow robots to drop directly into the ditch that surrounds the arena. 50mm is the recommended height for arena walls.

3d) The minimum distance between the edge of the unwalled part of the arena and the battle box (and therefore the width of the ditch) is 140mm.
                        From the AWS rules.

That's a cool arena! It would be fine for battles, but as they said aws (the main formal competitions) cant be held in it. But casual, play battles or competitions would be fine in it, as long as there's no spinners, but that's cool.

Kanopener's triumphant return to robotic combat against 3 mighty flippers.

Would still say Kronic won that one as it did some good attacking of all three opponents and Kan Opener blindly focused on Kronic so would've lost the opportunity to score more points on the others.

If this were a RW first round melee though Kronic would be through and KO second....

At Burgess Hill we were doing the 'play fights' in a cardboard and gaffa tape arena
