Two antweight questions, are the lights enough in the antweight section or should I bring my stage lights tomorrow, and what time do you want us there?

it was a good weekend, its a good base for a robot, but need a lot of upgrades

          i need:
new 4mm steel body work and 4-5mm polycarb top and botton
          new batteries (nimh or lipos)
          new wheels
          powerlight

after all that i think i will call it 'Spike The Avenger 2.0'

You forgot cut it in half!

            I nominate Spike 2 as a name. A homage to Steg 2

Enjoyable event all round. Nice to see everybody again and met the most delightful people. Sorry for being such a pest.

Thanks very much to the RL guys for a great event, to everyone for being excellent company and tolerating me, and well done to Will for winning the heavyweights and the feathers! (I think - I could well be wrong on that since my head's still recovering ;P if so I apologise)

A most fantastic time had by myself and a lot of people seemed interested in the ants - it was good to see 13 Black and John at an event too

Thanks to Robots Live for a really good weekend!! We had a great time and actually won something with Maelstrom!!!

Also well done to Shane for driving Heatwave in the final and winning with that too!

Whirlwind finally started working again after a few events of being a bit rubbish- the flipper seemed much better than it has been with many robots flying

Also thanks to Ian and Mark for letting me have a go of Wierd mAlice- couldn't believe how nice it was to drive.

Thanks again and see you all at the O2!!

                      Re: 26th & 27th Feb' 2010 - Robots Live - Whitwick, Leiceste

As always many thanks to the Robots live crew for a great event.

                      Pilgrim went fine

Cherub did better than at any other meeting and even won the last fight

Saint seemed really sick no power to it so I will be stripping that down this week to find out why

Seraph should have won :x there is a conspiracy against anything that's not a flipper

Tron trundled around the arena and didn't bother anyone why do I bother with that one

Really good fun loved the meal on Saturday night. Looking forward to the next one

Just wondering did anyone else see Joey attempt to jump the barrier and ended up taking
                        half of it with him

Thanks to everyone who attended. Well done to Team Shock for taking the double (grrr ) There were some really good fights over the weekend, i think probably the Kronic/Ripper team Bud fight was one of the best fights i've had in ages, think it got recorded.

Thanks to all the crew for their usual great job and Zach & Adrian for helping out. The event had been going nice and smoothly until we went to load the Luton van, and the tail-lift motor had packed up!

                          Roll on Burgess Hill!

Thanks for another great event - we had a really good time. Some of the best fights for ages, iron awe and thor going at it, ripper and kronic, and the most spectacular flip iron awe 6 throwing itself out of the arena.

Congrats to Will for the double.

O2 next - new set of batteries and hopefully a ball valve!

Then off to Burgess Hill to try to repeat last year's success.

thanks guys for a really great event yet again..

                                best highlights had to be:-

Ripper flying through the air and sent itself flying again with a awesome selfrite. (someone must of got a vid of it)
Tilly still running fine after all the axe blows,
Iron awe's battery issue was quite dramatic though expensive for them!
skeltron...... still amazing to see it do its thing,
seeing 13 black and meeting the team.
Ripper vs Kronic best fight Ive seen in a while.

very well done to maelstrom!! want to hurry up and get raging reality finished now!!
