Re: 19/20th June -Robots Live-National Museum of Flight Scotland
Thanks to all those that came glad you all enjoyed it, and thanks to those who helped with the arena. Concorde did offer a rather unique backdrop, and i did eventually get a chance to look around it, lets hope they get one back in the air soon.
Friday night we had fish & chips on the beach, then just back in time for the footy (should of stayed on the beach!), the on Saturday had a great time at bowling, and watching half the place take cover when the nipper guys got on the air hockey (the puck must of gone 20foot from the table at one point!). Then Ed and Adam for some reason deciding to run between B&Bs (about 300meters!).
There were some really good fights over the weekend, well done to Jamie who drove UFO in a fight. The sparks on Merlin in the last fight turned out to be a cable that has got crushed and was shorting on the chassis, not the motor as first thought. Cheers for Big Nipper for giving Kronics Roboteq a tickle!
The museum were very impressed, and at one point there were talks of returning there 3 times this year, but we'll see and i'll keep you posted.
Again thanks to all those that came, and once again a big thanks to the crew. We're currently working on our next event in October, we'll post more details when we can.
