Can i ask why did the pit go down any way when no one hit it ? as the 2 bots were fighting on it its not as if LJ drove down realy

Was wondering that myself actually when watching it the first time. Just rewatched it and it's hard to see because the camera is off to the left slightly but I can only assume Maelstrom drove or got nudged into the pit release tyre??

we flipped them to corner and they were no where near another video i will watch ok

but it realy is down to the judge Swanny as its his Trophy!!!!

there were other people filming so will prob be able to see on another video

but still seems that will was like a meter away from the pit button even when we flipped him against the side

pit button should be other side of the arena anyway or have a few seconds for when the pit goes down to stop things like this happening....

Memory might be playing tricks on me but I thought that Will drove into the pit release before LJ had him in the corner.But there again I am getting old.

Maelstrom did hit the pit release 51 seconds into that video. It should be clear from another angle.

Well done to Will for getting the trophy, glad we managed to squeeze it into the show, also the 'Challenge' from Iron Awe, did remind me a little bit of RW Extreme!

Maelstrom did hit the pit button about 50 seconds in, i remember confirming with Adam at the time. If you don't want to go down the pit, dont go near it!

The pit release button was knocked there in a previous fight! From what I remember the release button was pressed by Maelstrom after being flipped by Beast. It was very hard luck for team Beast for the pit going down when they were so close. But that€™s life.
