Ahh, I've just seen the red arrows fly over my house, must be going home!

We had the greatest fun, thanks to RR crew and Team Bud (otherwise all them loud drunk louts would have congegrated in Chateau Maniaque during the rains).
Pictures will be up one of these days, can't say when. But I have a few days off due to Belgian National Holiday tomorrow, so we'll see how fast I recover from the trip (we arrived at 5.15 am this morning, that's 4.15 your time).

A big thanks to Jonno for putting it on again, where would we be without you?
Stagefright nearly made it all the way across the arena without stopping this time.   It didn't blow up.  and the flipper fired about 8 times    . It only stopped moving because i fitted slicks at the pit stop instead of monsoon tyres.  and the ram froze ( its never had that much use before )
I did think that the rule changes mid tournament did help one team in particular in the robot football ( who said subs were allowed )

Thanks to all the crew from Roaming Robots for a great weekend and well done on Sunday for being quicker with the covers than the ground staff at Lord's. Thanks to Team Bud and Jonno for the bar and somewhere for the teams to have a chat. Thanks to John Bell for the personal touch. Finally thanks to whoever pulled Aftershock out of the hat for Sarah to drive and to Team Shock for letting it be used.

Many thanks to RR for a great relaxing weekend - it was great to keep the FRA hat packed away and not worry about tech checks etc (rolling into the pits at 5 to 11 on Saturday helped too ) David always enjoys this event and he will be holding John up for his word to drive Dantomkia at the earliest opportunity
More thanks to Trevor for trusting me with MMM and I hope I did him proud with my 2nd place in the 'Ladies Cup' - it was fun to drive.

Big boos to the weather for making my hip to my ankle turn arthritic in the damp and cold - meant that I couldn't enjoy too much time in the bar as I was in so much agony, especially on the Saturday evening but Swanny and Jason did a great job.

Thanks to all for a brilliany weekend, very entertaining especially the evenings in the Bud Bar, thanks Swanny and Jason. Sorry I missed most of the ladies fight, had to get Apoc ready for the following fight, but good to see DB5 not in the pit unlike when I drive it. Well done Christine. Alex and I are even after he pushed me in the pit after I rescued him from the wall twice, later I stacked AHA on it back. Some kind of spike on the back could be an improvement there Clive.

Another great event, still the best on the calander. Shame about the weather sunday but big nipper and little hitter seem to do OK in the rain. Not sure what happened with the football rules but still good fun, Envy and Thor just had better wet tyres than us , but 3 against one doesn't help either John

Big thanks to RR and of course to Team Bud for their efforts with the bar, much appricated, just a shame you didn't stock more girlie drinks

That I think was the best event for us so far, with a lot of Dalek Stickers on robots , but P.S.M.B wasn't working best (probably because of batteries ). But it was great! (We also saw real Daleks )

Loved the event, shame about the weather, but we had a fun weekend anyway. Hopefully we will have a better tested heavyweight robot with us next year.

Big thank you to Jonno and the rest of the RR crew, you came through for us roboteers again. Also to Team Bud for their magnificent pub on the campsite.

I had a really good weekend, although some problems with the robot and the weather. The robot is starting to wear out after 7 years.
And arrived well at home at 5.05 am. Dutch time.
It was very nice to see everyone again.

Had a great event with thor and envy doing well. Thanks for your kind comments about the bar, we thought it was worth the effort and it brought the community together. well i think it did. Must better it next year and planning already tho i think less beer next year cos suffering the next day was bad and really hungover like that in the pits isnt really gravy baby. Thankyou for your generous donations too nearly paid for the beer so more than happy.

Thanks again Lear. Top bloke. oh and they fit pukka.

A HUGE thank you to everyone. Especially to the Bud team. They let me drive ENVY and I must say, its a very nice machine. Jason has a case of snif and shoot to cure but other than that it was fine. Also, another huge thanks to the Bud boys for the bar. Cheers lads.

                              Mike.

The piccies are here. (Just click on the here...)
Unfortunately, due to memory space constraints I had to cull a bit. 115 out of 919 pictures remained.
