thor v dantomkia what a fight

    thanks RR Team
Shame I missed it cos I was otherwise engaged sorting out Hydras fire. Luke's optimistic comment was 'at least it's not structural like Dantomkia's damage'

I have to say looking at the state of dantomkia I think were better off not in there anyway.

Thanks to all the Roaming Robots crew for their help and to Wierd Alice for the ready supply of fire extinguishers.

Surprisingly I really enjoyed the event. SMIDSY ran very well with not too many hicups (Apart from Maelstrom )

      well guys cracking event !!

Guildford ended up being a great event, some really entertaining fights.

What we thought was going to be a quiet event, turned out ok, not as busy as hoped, but certainly busier than Swindon and Cardiff !!!

Looks like the war between Thor / Envy vs Major Damage continues !! Although it has been stepped up a gear as the front breast plate of MD now needs its mounting rubbers replaced after a few hits from thor. First bit of damage !!! Think its time to turn the pressure up from its 7 Bar its currently on.

Thats it for our first half of the year, no more ticketed events for a while, time to look forward to RIAT in 5 weeks time.

Over the next few weeks I will be taking stock of things, looking at the future and seeing where we can go.
It is now the end of the year trial of the flip out zone / cages.

      The result....

      Cages - Success
Flip put zone - Entertaining when used, but not used enough - Fail

So Portsmouth may see a new concept / design to the RR arena again which is going to change the way things work !!

More info will come when decisions are made.

We decided we'd be doing event reports for our web-site for all the events we go to, so here's the first attempt with all the videos we took on the day - www.teamhydra.co.uk
