so what happens if we wanted to enter 2 flippers?

can we only enter 1 when its a tag team comp

is this a fun comp or a serious comp?

if this was to be setup as a FRA featherweight tag team championship? then i think its only fair if we get to pick our own partners

i could be tagged up with the most unrealiable bot ~(which i dont think there is any but still) and then im having to fight 2 robots on my own which would be hard

i think it would be best one way or another james, obviously we all wont be happy, just put me down for whiteboards please on KAHN and Prodigy evo, its less hassle and i will still enjoy myself that way LOL

adrian - prodigy evo is going to be a spinner right? you would have no problem in finding a partner

the main reason i would like to be able to pick as i dont think its fair for teams with 2 bots who wont be able to enter both fairly in 2 different tags

and as this is tag team this is the perfect opportunity to fight with both

but ofcourse i understand what u said b4 - but the best robots (tags) should be given a

i dont think i will have a problem finding a tag partner for prodigy evo either, i believe its going to be a very powerful machine, im just thinking of the overall competition and others. the first test will be to see what it does to the old prodigy chassis, that is the easiest way to test its power as i know what other spinners did to the old prodigy, which wasnt a great deal. hopefully at some point will upload some test vids onto youtube. hopefully the finished product is going to look something like the pic on profile, things might change slightly except for the 3kg disc

Its an axebot youre building Dan isnt it? Well be there with two robots; one has already been paired up for the tag team but the other (Snakebite, a vertical crusher) hasnt been paired up with anyone yet - let me know if you want to have it as a partner to yours. Snakebite is a new machine and this event will only be my second full combat event so dont worry about being new and inexperienced, Im not far off that either

Not any build pics at the moment as its not yet built :P (have made a prototype with a 5mm polycarb claw thats been able to crush a few easy objects, until the 3mm mdf base started to flex)

Once I begin getting the proper version built (hopefully within the next couple of weeks) Ill take some pictures then and post them; for now theres a CAD picture on my profile - just imagine that with some covers over the wheels/internals and the two claw tips brought together as one (a bit like Razer).

Nothing fancy in the specs; drills, nicads, Electronizes (maybe upgrade to a dual speedo if I can afford it) and a hunking great big linear actuator in the middle of it

Do we need to be a member of anything other than the FRA to enter?
We also need to test Levelers(Heavyweight)flipper. Would it be possable for us to test it safely in the arena afterwards.
