No definatly unfortunatly. I dont have a spinner heavyweight but for a true championship you need to be able to have all different types of robot compete in my humble opinion. Including the spinners. I do agree that it will be easier on the arena and possibly the other robots without them.

Altough a TerrorHz or Thor pounding away on you or a kan-opener or Tiberius squeezing the life out of you is nothing to sneeze at either.

Ive got the Vodka, Absint and becherovka.
Also had sunshine a whole week long, with temperatures between 30 and 37 degree celsius.
I wanne go back!! :sad:

Jonno - could of questions (not had a reply to my email of April yet) so hope you dont mind me asking here seeing as were less than 4 weeks away now and people need to make plans.

Your initial post says

2 shows per day including an afternoon show, and evening show, should leave plenty of time to relax and enjoy the sunshine away from robots!

Your update post (26/05/07) says

Each day will feature 4 x 1 hour sessions, the show times will be 10am-11am, 12pm-1pm, 2pm-3pm, 4pm-5pm..... And once the public leave after the 5pm we have the use of the venue for food, drink, and socialising

..however the Haven site appears to have been updated recently and now says 2 shows per day. 3-5pm and 7-9pm

...but go back to the Roaming Robots website and it says 4 shows per day.

Your update confirmed that wed have evenings free is this no longer the case ? Which of all the above is correct ?????

--- I have been told that we cant camp with tents on site at Haven. As access to the facilities on site is a big part of the offer to Roboteers can you confirm what the posistion is on this ? Have Haven confirmed they will put us up. The RR website states that the park is regularly fully booked so I would assume if this were the case they would have already allocated accom ?, or are we now to camp off-site etc (if so how do we get back there after a drink at the bar from the social side of the event) ?

--- My email of April asked about selling merchandise but as I stated above Ive not heard back, can you confirm if teams are allowed to sell their stuff and if so where and how ?

--- The Haven website makes reference to Sir Killalot, Razer, Matilda and Hypnodisc - are they coming as I have been asked by some friends who are considering coming. Haven say if its on the site thats what weve got but I wanted it from the horses mouth as it sounded quite a coup !

Am sure you have the answers and have just been too busy sorting things out to get them out, but with only a few weeks to go to the event Im sure Im not the only person wondering some of the above.
