a excellent event and cant believe i finished 3rd for my first event, was not expecting to get past little spinner, and to be drawn a 2nd time against them is just my luck, thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome, a big thanks to robochallenge, team pillow torque, and the guy who lent me his radio gear. Congrats to mighty mouse, i now have a nice break to get a new and much greater improved prodigy ready, and to make sure the reciever wire doesnt come loose again!!

That was a great event, shame we didnt see as much spinner related destruction as wed hoped, but thems the breaks (literally in LS and Scorpions case)

Id like to say a big thanks to everyone involved ,i think that its fair to say that everyone enjoyed themselves (although Dizzy did take a battering ) ,you wouldnt have thought is was the UK Champs as the atmosphere was so laid back .

Well done to Trevor,James and Tom . It looks like stiff Breeze is in need of some upgrades or may ill have to pull my finger out with Mini Beta .

Congratulations to Trevor, James & Adrian for their 1,2,3 in a competition full of surprises proving that whatever is out there - anything can happen.

Special thanks goes out from Geoff and Team Pillow Torque to all the children that took part in the Tanja Memorial Fight. Out of what looked like total chaos at the beginning came a very worthy winner in Tom driving Push n Shove. Special thanks and hugs to Tiffany driving Small Torque to come a very close 2nd. Lets hope you all had as much fun taking part as it was to watch.

Finally hit earth with a bump,

I didnt see that many fights as you know i was locked away in my little room with the kids doing the robot building workshops...but from what i did see it looked as though everyone had a great time.

Malika wanted me to say thankyou to you all, the feedback from the space centre was nothing but positive.

Those spinners definately need some practice, although it was funny to see the bars just fall off

Well done to the top three... well deserved.... but the robot of the event has to be Prodogy, hows that for a first event.

Nice to see the mouse on form again, well done trevor.

he always said it would either destroy everything or blow up lol, how come the 2 bots were removed from the arena or are they diffrent fights

Dizzys batteries were on fire... either around the arena or inside dizzy... and Scoprion Lems Mosfet controller which controls the Lem was smoking badly which if left alone may have started to short the batteries, which would then have left us with over i think its 80 cells of NiMhs on fire, not good move. So both Scorpion LEm and Dizzy were pulled... i collected about 6 single cells around the arena on fire... i think Jonno took the main pack out side also.. then the other 2 robots continued to fight which sadly left Little Spinner not able to use their Weapon again due to a peace of Ti on their chassis had bent which stopped the blade from spinning, but still pushed Fireant into the pit as you saw.
