6/7th April 2007 RR - Easter Robot Rumble - Colchester

I noticed that the very first fight of the show I went to (the third one) was introduced by a little re-do of the infamous Android Love. Still, it was fun.

Thanks to the organisers - I enjoyed this one dispite not arriving on the first day and missing the start of competition.

Congrats to the winners Iron Awe and Bonx.

Stu if you have any of the whiteboards with T4 in that would be great

Thanks to Geoff and the RR Crew for a very enjoyable event.
So after 7 years of roboting we have eventually won something!! Quite amazing really seeing as we had so many reliability problems over the weekend including two speed controller failures. Anyway, thanks to Ian for fixing the controller, Team Mad for their help and Pete for managing to hold our flipper up, for what must have seemed an eternity whilst I fumbled around inside the robot at the start of the final trying to fix it!

Well done guys, you were certainly due! Despite the reliability problems youve been threatening to win an event for a while now. Im looking forward to seeing some footage of the weekend. Shame Ka-Pow! couldnt be there this year...

            All the best,
            John.
