Thanks to everyone for making a really fun weekend. DB5 only really broke down once which was fixed in 30 mins (not counting the weapon).
Special thanks to Stu, John and Karl for their help with getting me home.

yes a nice friendly time, each of the wheels fell off my featherweight in turn, (though it still managed to come second in sumo with only 3 wheels!)then a gearbox broke... the other feather nearly ran, but left with 2 broken speedos a popped rc switch, and a shredded drive gear on the weapon motor..

Thanks for a great weekend!! After we have sorted out the problems with whirlpool we will probably be seeing you all at another event soon.

Also thanks to John for letting me use his spektrum on saturday. It sorted out all of the radio problems that we had.

          Thanks Again!!!

            Hi Guys

I got a bunch of pics from the Roaming Robots stand to send if you want them (got a good one of Whirlpools insides, Will)

Great event, but Id advise bolting the walls to the floor next time, the boards were coming apart and the wall kept shifting :P

A relaxing weekend, full of fun once again.

I dont think there was any robot which didnt break down or have its own problems over the weekend.

It was more of a show of how to fix robots than how to drive robots

Bolting the sidewalls, and screwing the floor.... nah that would be boring !!!!

Pics would be appreciated for our event report.

              John

it was one of those wheel or battery weekenders. the footballers had nothing but probs with the wheels. anyway all good fun, really enjoyed myself and even with all the problems talon, IDK & IDK2 perfomed really well.

any of these any good to you john
