Due to the large amount of featherweights attending we have got to put a stop on FW only teams, heavyweight teams are still welcome to bring there FWs but they have to be kept on their pit table

It would appear that my comment above about the XFM influence has been read into by certain people who are suggesting that were funding this event, providing materials etc etc.

This is not the case and for the avoidance of doubt the similarity referred to is nothing more than the same truss as the XFM arena uses (although more of if).

The Youngs are working hard to make this event raise the bar for heavy events in just the same way as XFM aimed to do it for feathers. It would appear that my post above has been used by some to suggest that they are not capable of doing this themselves without help.

The truth is quite the reverse to the degree that we have already formally stated to them that rather than building out own XFM Heavy arena we will be using their services to support what were doing in 2007 !

Hi Glyn, arena build is going well, the actual arena/stage is finished (just a few bits to be painted), so thats the major fabrication done. Working on a few things at the moment that will make this unlike any other show weve seen on the circuit.

On the list of feathers attending there a quite a few spinners so i presume so. I think its 18mm ply on the floor aswell.

Yes FW Spinners are allowed, the top layer of floor is MDF, this is to be consistant with other arenas.
