its confirmed, i cannot personally attend unless the national lottery want to help me with a paid holiday
I wont pull Tantrum out though unless I have to.
Can Geoff run him? (only if you want to Geoff, Im giving you first dibs) If not, does anyone else want to volunteer to run him?

So, Im caving in to modern times (it was a fight. Im a luddite, believe it or not.)

Im starting a robogames blog. But Im not the author. You might be.

See, I doubt people really want to read about me getting turned down by companies for sponsorship. Not many photo ops there.

But YOU building a robot... well, thats cool. Doing driving practice (yea, like anyone does that), welding... your worries about how Matt will kick your ass (unless youre Matt, in which case youre worried about John kicking your ass.)

That kinda stuff.

Im looking for about 20 people. Ill give you unrestricted access to just shoot the $hit. What I DONT want is someone who will give me all sorts of promises about how theyll blog every day and upload a million photos and then actually only blog once.

Email me if youre interested. Include your bot name and class, since I dont actually remember any of you. ;-)

i now know that BonX (my feather) had made the cut to the final 8 and lost his fight against Billy Bob (4th in the comp) going 2-1.

still top 8 with a 1-1 competition out of 25 robots, im pleased.

only damage after fighting 3 spinners, bit of lexan missing and tiny hole in the side

Yeah, BonX got unlucky against Billy Bob. I can tell you, we were not looking forward to fighting BonX, he looked altogether too solid for comfort!
