Sorry to resurrect this thread, I know, it should have been left to rest in peace.
But I was sitting at work today and found myself thinking about this intelligent design / Darwin thing, then suddenly it hit me... Everyone has missed the one thing that blows the whole debate clean out of the water.... The Duck Billed Platypus!!!
I mean, come on... It has to be the most ridiculous creature on the planet!
The body of a beaver with a ducks bill, its the only poisonous mammal and as far as I can see serves no useful purpose whatsoever...Now, Im sorry but I cant see that any intelligent entity would design anything so pointless, unless of course.... God has a very strange sense of humour!
But heres the final twist.....Its a mammal..... But it lays eggs!!... Up yours! Darwin old friend...
Explain that one by natural selection...If you can!
