Complete newbie starting first bot!

Hi all, starting my first beetleweight bot, just in the parts sourcing stage at the moment. For things like pulleys, is there a reason not to put a small pulley directly onto the motor spindle?

If not, anyone know where I can get suitable pulleys from?

Most people use small pulleys on the motor spindles for spinners, to get the reduction you want in the least space, weight etc.

I use beltingonline for all my transmission stuff (pulleys, belts, gears) go for the HTD ones
