  • Gears, pulleys, belts, hubs . . .

Where do people go to buy all the little internal bits that connect everything together?

We have some of the Ranglebox motors/gearboxes with the 12mm spindle but finding cogs/gears for chain drive or pulleys for belt drive seems to be a real black art. Anybody teach us a few spells?

I haven't ordered from here, but Ellis (of Ranglebox, Pulsar, etc) said he uses http://www.beltingonline.com/. Looks like they have a reasonable amount of different power transfer solutions.

I've got a list that I setup for my local Hackspace: http://wiki.makespace.org/Suppliers#Metals

Also use eBay shops of HPC, GWS and a few others.
