peak voltage on a sabertooth 2x60

if you exceed the max amp ()120() from what i read the controller will cut out with the protection built in, what happens then will it auto restart in a few seconds or does it require a manual reboot ??

Mine has a red led n if you over do it it goes from green to red for a few secs. Let off the sticks and it comes back to life.
