  • Taking burkets apart

Is there anything I should know before taking apart a burket for cleaning? I guess what I'm asking is am I going to be hit in the face with a million tiny springs or is it reasonably simple in there?

It's actualy very simple in there.

Only 2 springs and 3 Orings.
One small to push down the solenoids core, one bigger one conical, to push the shuttle down.

First you remove the coil of the solenoid (1/8bsp thread on top).
Then you see 4 torx , but these can be undone with a flathead screwdriver, but that's not the best option.

Main thing is the shuttle. (the thing that closes the big let trough) The seals on that are very fragile.

When reassembling, don't put the main plate in reverse, then the pilot hole is blocked, and the valve won't work.

That's all clean in there James or it was anyway ! I've still got spare bits if a spring disappears !
