my robot build booklet

today I've been working on a robot build booklet for my friends (which be a nice surprize for them), & done 2 chapters so far. This booklet will be a up to date version on building small robots like antweights up to 100kg heavyweight robots, I'm still going to use the old rex robot challenge section from for friends who hasn't got 'CAD' software but I didn't know if any body would like to give me some in puts or would like a copy to look at even to review my booklet. let me know. thanks.

I've also put this on facebook as I'm hope to different ideas.

This sounds awesome! A booklet for antweights sounds good! There are some online guides but a booklet on getting started in robot combat would be good. Event organisers could even sell them or give them away in goodie bags etc. when people buy a ticket for the main events. Maybe have a booklet on building an ant or feather to try and get more people interested in building

I admire your enthusiasm Jack. Best stick a copy on the forum so people can proof read and double check the information.

thanks guys, it's going to take time for me to finish it due to balance of work & free time. but I will try & get it on the forum as well as facebook page as I will have to go through it myself & make a few improvements. If you want me to do copies for live robot events like robot wars & robots live then i'll do them copies to, but see if the robot wars crew as well as robots live, robo challenge & robot of destruction crew would like me to them a copy.

I'm writing the my article in word program first before it goes into the booklet as I want to get all the information from designing to building. if any one want me to email it to them then let me know before I put the final booklet up on forum, you will be able to add things that I might forgotten but the finished booklet will have pictures in it too.

i'll try & get it done before mid November if not then the finished booklet will be on the forum in January 2015 some time.

There's the cover of my booklet, but this is a first plan layout. I had to put this on paint program as I couldn't up load the publisher program as I done this at my local library & I don't have the same program. so if anyone want a copy to add or change thing I would have to email it to you went its done.

I made a total mistake in saying that my booklet put on forum by January, I just missed out key things, cad pictures as well as picture of damaged machines or metal like hardox & I'm trying to sort it out. if any want to put any ideas then be my gest & let me know I'll send you everything I done on word program. you name will got the booklet too.
