  • Wireless guitar system alterations

Got a wireless system and just found out the networks that it runs on are now blocked but some new systems run on 2.4ghz

I have no idea on this, it's just an off chance but would there be any possible way of converting it from roughly 863Mhz to 2.4Ghz?

After 2012 the broadcast frequencies were taken down due to the digital switchover

if I post a few pics of the circuit's would anyone be able to point out what I could replace to get it to transmit over 2.4Ghz?

the frequency isn't blocked, its now just being used for the 4G network. The system should still work (especially in close range) but is technically illegal now to use it. Do you know the exact frequency its on, as some channels on the UHF spectrum are still OK to use (my own radio mics fall on these)? Don't think you will be able to switch it to 2.4ghz.

            Transmits through 854-865 MHz

If you can select channel 70 (863-865) then that is still legal to use and should work fine.

Worth a shot, if not then I may have to try a replacement cable though the bloke who sent it swore it was working before he posted it
