To be random for a moment; I'm spending this week working at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Turbo Expo at the SECC and, of over 3000 attendees, there is one guy who stands out and I always end up spotting. I don't know his name or where he's from; all I think when I see him is that he is a cross between Ian Lewis and Mike Lambert

Also started making a list today (I was bored during lunch duty) of other conference attendees who looked like people and so far I've got a guy who looks like David Walliams but a little skinnier, a professor from Cambridge with a beard such that it makes him look like Abraham Lincoln, a guy who could be Lando Calrissian's twin brother and a fair few Japanese attendees who (without wanting to stereotype/generalise too much) could pass for Mr Sulu

Pretty much, although this guy doesn't have as evil a grin, more just the white hair and balding head

There was also the lightweight title (our machine only had to move to win that one!).

I take it you mean the best engineered style awards? Nah but then it's the titles that we were interested in

Anybody care to guess which roboteer didn't know how the cross of St George window flags attached to a car window.In his quest to find out opened said window, whilst being driven at 40mph, and was shocked when it blew off and hit the Merc behind us?

Alex actually gave me an idea the other day; to have a FRA charity match, something like HW roboteers vs FW roboteers (we can't do RR vs RL, we're past all that now ). Do you think we'd be able to get together 22 roboteers to play ?
