has a antweight robot built with a spring powered flipper?

I'm thinking about building an antweight robot first as I don't want to get in a muddle. the antweight robot will have a spring powered flipper here's a pic as an example, & my second question is can a mini DC motors from mini hand held fans be used as weapons like crusher or spinners? plus type of mini motor I mein

Yeah, I think it's been tried a few times, but they're incredibly complicated to build, and don't provide much more flip than an over-volted servo. AJW from from the robotwars101 forum built one for the last AWS competition. If you're looking for big flips though, you'll need to be using pneumatics, which again are very difficult to fit into 150g.

And yes, the fan motors can be used for spinners. I'm not sure how you would make a crusher out of one though. I'm don't think they would be that effective though, as those mini fans are designed not to be very powerful (you can stop them with your finger, and if you tried to do that with an antweight spinner, you'd be taking a trip to the hospital). I think pretty much all ant spinners use brushless motors these days. They're very powerful and light compared to regular brushed motors.
