Audience voting!

So what is the general concensus about the audience deciding on the winner of a fight? I'm all for audience participation, but sometimes they are just cheering for their favourite robot and not the robot that deserves the win. Prime example of this was at Colchester when Kronic lost out in a fight he should have been awarded if judged correctly. It doesn't take much to have one or two independent judges milling around the arena - does it?

I agree, all competition fights should be judged. Although audience should be encouraged to have a view as Craig Charles used to do. Don't know what robot wars is currently doing as not made it to a show yet, this is what robots live do.

Audience voting shouldn't be used really.

We are currently rejigging our format and trying lots of different things along the way getting the audience involved , audience voting isn't the way to go and we will be implementing judges again like we normally do. If you don't try you don't know.

We have already someone In mind, costume picked, That's it really.
