World championship?

This was recently posted in the US Robot Fighting League forum:


Mnstrrobotics.org has been asked to assist in a new project, it will consist of 5 Heat competitions and a world championship final.. at this moment that is all I can say.

I am researching the numbers of Heavyweight bots/teams past or present, that would be interested in taking part, it is planned there will be no entry fees, and shipping, expenses for travel would be covered. if this project gets the green light, all events would be filmed.

I need to know teams and bots for the following;

US East Coast
US West Coast
Canada
UK
Europe

please go to my website at mnstrrobotics.com and fill in the contact form at the bottom, just need to know bot name, team contact name including phone number, and of course which location.

I can't give out any more information other than this. This is purely information gathering at this stage.

All costs covered? Sounds to good to be true, but sweet!
If this gets a green light, maybe i can put hands to work and build a HW just so i can enter. :wink:

This may be putting two and two together to get five, but might this be the setting up for the call for competitors for James Cameron's Robogeddon show?

Well, that's wondering aloud.

(Besides, wouldn't Robogeddon already be greenlit, and have more than 5 heats?)
