  • Help please

Hi everyone. Firstly, thankyou to everyone who helped me out yesterday at Portsmouth. I was having some trouble with the radio system on SA, but we got the drive working in the end, but not the axe or shrimech. As far as I can tell it is a problem with the radio gear as looking through the pneumatic system everything seems to be ok. The drive was working yesterday but has since stopped. Any ideas?

    Many thanks.

      Re: Help please

are the solenoids clicking? is the regulator working? are the battleswitches or whatever it uses working?

if no obvious problem can be found go down the system from the co2 bottle checking each component

        Re: Help please

Before you go too far take out the wires from the solenoid plug and check if you get a change in the voltage when you hit the switch. If you do not then it's electrical, if you do the it's pneumatic.

If it's electrical, do as Jonny says and go through the system. It may be that a wire is loose in the relay or something.

If it's mechanical, check you have flow at the valve (take pipe off turn on bottle) If you do then check the pressure it's running at with a pressure gauge. if that doesn't work, disconnect the outputs from the valve and see if it fires.

Hi guys, thanks for your suggestions, it works fine on the old 40mhz gear, but not the new 2.4ghz. I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, but I believe it is something to do with the radio gear.
