UK TV show needs robotic inventors

Hi, although not combat robot related, some of you may have some other robotics projects that may be of interest.



I have been approached by a UK TV researcher looking for Robotics inventions/creations for a new TV show. PM me if you are interested.

I did explain that some of what we do are difficult to class as inventions, but am assured that all kinds robotics projects also fall within the remit of the show.

€œA new and exciting TV show being produced for the Discovery channel is looking for creative minds to take part. The show aims to highlight ingenuity and original thought in an entertaining format that will be viewed by a worldwide audience.

If selected for the show you will be taken along with fellow inventors to a suitable location to test out and then rate each other€™s creations, the winner will receive a cash prize of £5000. What sort of machines would we be looking at show casing? Things like speed robotic grass cutters?

Hi,

Not really sure, from the brief I was given over the phone, almost anything that shows a spark of ingenuity and design.

Something with a use would probably go down well, but he seemed equally taken with some animatronic projects too.
