just a though, a nice feture at the next champs would be a all stars melee were by all the bots fetured on RW: ie terrorhurts, storm 2, behmoth etc all compeat as a nice spectical for the crowed

also, a similar thing could happen at the FW champs were by all the FW versions of HW bots have a big melee?

Just a thought, what could be done is somethig like a battle from bots series 5 and previous then also series 6 onwards?

Or a fight between all the UK champs as an All Stars battle?
TerrorHurtz, Kronic, Big Nipper, Iron Awe 5 & Ripper I know could make it.
Maybe Razer could attend, I think is still does demos at RoboChallenge events, and I saw Tornado at Burgess Hill. No spinners, so no Typhoon 2; Maybe Storm II could take it's place? Chaos 2 I think is dead. Roadblock is on display in Peter Kinsey's garage. I heard somewhere that Panic Attack is active. Is Turbulence still alive?

Tony, are you hoping to get Eric & Scar ready to be put back in the arena?

i think bringing razer and tornado in for the fight would be amazing to see.

just for the sight of all the bots still active from the RW days would be great. although 2 fights may be needed since their is a few still around

I don't think you'll see Razer vs Tornado, they're too valuable to be getting wrecked. Go see Razer at Robochallenge demos if you want to see it killings things I think is your only option.

I think you'd find that is some of these bots came back they would be defeated by a lot of robots. For example, Chaos 2 would probably be in serious trouble against most of the robots you mentioned in your first sentence. Mainly, because they have continued to evolve with the technology as it has become available whereas robots who remain in their Robot Wars form like Chaos 2 would be quite dated now, and also as I suggested before, would be faaaar too valuable to go getting destroyed.

Although Eric and Scar don't quite fall into the category Chaos 2 did as far as success and innovation is concerned, they do in that they are pretty much as-is from the Robot Wars days and so would be absolutely murdered in the arena by robots like Terrorhurtz (Eric actually still has a hole going from the side armour, through the chassis and baseplate and into the ground from a battle with Killerhurtz). Eric and Scar will hopefully fight again, even just every so often. We have a date with Storm Force at RL Edinburgh next year :wink:
