how would 10mm polycard be in a modern arena? that is what toxic comes with and i want to see how it would do?

are there any other plactics that would work better that are a similar weight to 10mm polycarb? the same with metals really?

say i have a 10 inch square piece of 10mm polycarb, what other plastics or metals would be an equivilent weight and which would work better?

(tosic comes with 10mm polycarb but im thinking for future upgrades mainly)

Perhaps to give you an idea of the weight of steel to HDPE (this is a little lighter than polycarbonate)
I replaced 5mm steel top plate on Saint with 20mm HDPE and it was about half the weight too!
the only thing that you could replace the polycarbonate with, would be HDPE as this dose not crack like polycarbonate.
But you may like to mix and match the armour, think what actually needs protecting and if it doesn't need armour
      don't waste weight protecting it.

Some areas I think need more protecting, mainly the base and top but the sides don't need as much protection, but they do near the wheels and tanks

if i were you i'd stick with polycarbonate on the sides and use some 3mm hardox on the top and bottom
